Mission Statement
The Pat Covelli Foundation was founded in 1999 after the death of our beloved brother, Pasquale.
Pat fought many health-related battles, including diabetes and kidney disease, throughout most of his adult life, before succumbing to his illnesses in 1998 at the age of 44. Throughout his many health-related struggles, he always managed to make every possible effort to help others afflicted with ailments similar to his and those in his community requiring assistance of any type. His strength, compassion and courage were an inspiration to all who knew him.
In Pat's memory, the foundation has been raising funds for several years and has donated 100% of all monies raising to various local and national charities. The Foundation has no employees, incurs no administrative costs, and donates all funds raised to worthy charities, causes and individuals in need throughout our community. All of the Foundation's work and planning is coordinated by friends and admirers of Pat's, as well as those who have come to recognize the significant contributions that are being made in Pat's name.
To date, The Pat Covelli Foundation has helped many deserving individuals and families meet their basic day-to-day and emergency needs during their battles with extreme personal hardship.
Additionally, some of the tremendously worthy organizations that have received funding from our Foundation include:
